Game of Throne Fame Star Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke is an English actress and is known for her work on screen and stage. She has received a number of accolades, including an Empire Award, a Saturn Award, in addition to nominations for four Primetime Emmy Awards and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Recently, Emilia Clarke gave quite some shocking revelation about her personal life about the two brain aneurysms she suffered while filming the show.
She said, “The amount of my brain that is no longer usable – it’s remarkable that I am able to speak, sometimes articulately, and live my life completely normally with absolutely no repercussions.” I am in the really, really, really small minority of people that can survive that,” she added.
She is popular for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s Game Of Thrones. Emilia also said that she is among the very few who survived this surgery, and that it’s remarkable how she can still speak.
Like her on-screen character, she is a strong fighting spirit in real life as well. While filming for Game of Thrones, she suffered and survived two aneurysms, one in 2011 and the other in 2013.
The actress continued, “There’s quite a bit missing. Because strokes, basically, as soon as any part of your brain doesn’t get blood for a second, it’s gone. And so the blood finds a different route to get around, but then whatever bit it’s missing is therefore gone.”
She told about how her sharp memory helps her when she is doing a project. “I always had a good memory because, it’s the only thing, it’s the only skill as an actor, you just have to remember some lines, so your memory is obviously incredibly important and I consistently tested that but, I gave up wondering,”.

A brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel caused by a weakness in the blood vessel wall.
